Friendfinder Networks files for bankruptcy

Friendfinder Networks, publisher of Penthouse and numerous online dating and social media sites, has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company based in Florida hasn’t made a profit since 2008 according to Dailyfinance.com. If approved, the bankruptcy will allow them to discharge debt and reorganize and relieve control of some of their websites to become profitable. Friendfinder networks operates some notorious websites such as friendfinder.com, bigchurch.com, perfectmatch.com, and numerous other sites. As with any chapter 11 companies, the basic functionality of their business will continue to operate so you should not have to worry about your subscription being honored.
