Friendfinder Networks, publisher of Penthouse and numerous online dating and social media sites, has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company based in Florida hasn’t made a profit since 2008 according to Dailyfinance.com. If approved, the bankruptcy will allow them to discharge debt and reorganize and relieve control of some of their websites to become profitable. Friendfinder networks operates some notorious websites such as friendfinder.com, bigchurch.com, perfectmatch.com, and numerous other sites.
