Matches based on compatibility and chemistry
Uses creative approach to identify compatibility and communication methods
No option to search through profiles
The free registration process is quite lengthy as it takes you through a series of questions some with visual presentations. First stage of registration is the analytical question. It has text based questions which inquires various areas about your preferences. This includes relationships (secure or insecure), social aspects (intro / extrovert), conflict skills (passiveness / competitiveness), assertiveness, values, and much more. There are also some game widgets to test your creativity and problem solving skills.
Once you complete the analytical questions, you move onto the typical profile building questions about yourself and basic preferences. Question about yourself such as your height, the color of your eyes and hair, and ethical / religious background. What is interesting is that when you flag checklist against attributes to your potential mate matches, you can use a lever to determine how important the attribute is. Examples are body type, marital status, want / have children, smoke / drinker. In each of these, you can gauge if these attributes are not important to very important.
Once you go through your preference, you get two text boxes. One to write a profile headline to describe yourself in 128 characters or less. You are then prompted to write a full detail about yourself and who you are looking for under 2000 characters.
Finally, you are faced with the ultimate challenge if this is your first time on a dating website. You are prompted to upload your picture. Along this page, it describes that you are 10 times more likely to get a response (well duh…). You are allowed to upload up to 26 photos. At this point, at the top of the page, it indicates that I have 10 matches waiting for me. The whole registration process will take up to 30-45 min.
After you register, you can browse through at profiles who are compatible with your chemistry. At the top, you can see a counter bar which indicates the following, all, new matches, interested in you, you’ve been noticed, you may also like, and decide later. I believe you do have restricted view but you are able to see photographs if they make them available. When you click into the profile, there will be a small area which tells you what activities you two share. However, you will not be able to initiate contact. This should help when you decide to join and enroll at a future date. Once you click the ‘I am Interested’ link / button, it will lead you to a paid membership plan. Out of the 11 profiles that I was matched with, 8 of them had pictures which was much higher than I thought.
Overall, the site is very well developed and has simple navigation menu. I had no problems going through the site and was able to immediately review profiles after completing registration.
